Martin Collins surfaces in action at The Show
The Martin Collins equine surfaces will be on show across the total 4.5 acres of riding arenas at Windsor, including the newly renovated Castle Arena on the showground.
This 6,500m₂ main arena has a purpose built drainage system and is surfaced with ECOTRACK, a specialist equine surface combining silica sand, synthetic fibres and a wax coating. This formula provides a safe durable riding surface that mimics the characteristics of turf and will ensure play in all weathers for the horses and participants.
The Castle Arena is one of the largest in the world for equestrian sports, and will this year stage the main celebrations to mark Her Majesty’s 90th Birthday.
In addition, Martin Collins has also installed:
- a 1,625sq.m outdoor riding arena that will be used as a warm-up facility for the 5000 horses that are expected to take part at this year’s show.
- the Adelaide Arena at the south end of the show ground to help accommodate the growing demand for national competition at the show including many of the In Hand Showing classes.
