Martin Collins Enterprises finished the year on a high at Olympia’s London International Horse Show which ran from 15-21 December 2015.
The Martin Collins Ecotrack arena surface installed at Olympia’s London International Horse Show received praise from riders and commentators alike.
BBC TV commentator, Andy Austin described it as “fantastic ground; the horses are really pinging off this surface and it’s helped produce some wonderful jump-offs.”
His fellow BBC commentator, Mike Tucker added: “This Collins surface is certainly doing its stuff.”
Brash & Maher take Martin Collins sponsored class
On the final night, Martin Collins Enterprises also sponsored The International Pairs Relay competition over 1.40m, which provided great entertainment for the crowds.
The riders joined in the festive spirit and rode in Christmas costumes but that didn’t stop them all being very competitive.
Fittingly, the class was won by the championship pairing of our world number one, Scott Brash with Hello Annie and British favourite, Ben Maher with Quabble. The combination finished two seconds ahead of their nearest rivals, Guy Williams and Laura Renwick.
Olympia is just one of the world’s most prestigious sporting venues which install Martin Collins equestrian surfaces to provide a multi-purpose solution which the competitors trust and which can withstand the intensive use by the different equestrian disciplines and displays.
Ecotrack, the international competition surface, is a combination of CLOPF fibre, high-grade industrial silica sand and PVC, which is carefully weighed and blended with a wax coating to offer different variants suitable for different disciplines.
